Schönberg’s “Die Prinzessin” @ Wien Modern
An exciting new project: in honour of Arnold Schönberg's 150th birthday, a children's music play adapted from the story he told his children, titled "Die Prinzessin" is being performed. Directed by Nina Kusturica, with music by Margareta Ferek-Petric, the play is part of the Wien Modern festival in cooperation with Dschungel Wien. Premiere “World Concert” by Oliver Ostermann
The “World Concert” by Oliver Ostermann, dedicated to Ana Topalovic was first performed in chamber version at Ana’s festival “Treffpunkt Kunst” and was streamed at renowned Tucuman Festival in 2020. This year, in November it will be premiered in it’s original version, for the full symphony orchestra with the Sibiu Philharmonic Orchestra.
US Tour and Carnegie Hall performance
Ana was reinvited for a performance at Carnegie Hall as part of her US tour. With her MULTICELLO, she will be presenting Austrian music under the theme "New Traditions" and will be collaborating with American and international musicians: Tanya Ruth Langlois, Michael Langlois, Catalina Butcaru, and Julija Bal. She will perform solo pieces as well as her own arrangements, featuring music by Margareta Ferek-Petric, Gabriele Proy, and Wolfram Wagner. Nominations for the Opus Klassik awards
Ana’s latest solo album "BACHIANA" was nominated in 3 categories for the Opus Klassik Awards: Best Solo Instrument, Newcomer and Instrumentalist Of The Year.
